The Team: ALTHEUS Coaches
At the heart of ALTHEUS is a prestigious and dedicated team of coaches with expertise in assessment, exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, sports, nutrition, massage and physical therapy. ALTHEUS was co-founded in New York in 2000 by Dr. Tom Crawford, the former Director of Coaching for the U.S. Olympics and Senior Director of the National Institute for Fitness and Sport. The ALTHEUS coaching team includes over 200 years of combined experience at the Olympic, NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, PGA, and pro-tennis levels. All of our coaches possess college educations, nationally recognized certifications, CPR/AED certifications, as well as a range of specialized experience in a multitude of fitness and sports activities.
